2023 Spring Release: 10 Warranty

Every now and again something unexpected happens and we will need to receive cameras for repair or replacement. All new Ridgetec cameras come with a 2-Year Warranty that covers just about anything except for damage caused by humans or wildlife. Any cameras that we sell as Factory Reconditioned will come with a 1-Year Warranty.

There is no longer a Warranty Registration page – your camera will be registered for its warranty as soon as it’s been added to your account. We’ve added some information that will allow you to see your warranty type, its registration date, and its status. This information is located in the “More Info” section below your camera’s Status.

THE RMA PROCESS

If you have an issue with your camera, please call 1-888-966-8929 or email us at service@ridgetecoutdoors.com, and our team will troubleshoot with you to diagnose the issue. If we determine that we need to receive your camera, we will get your mailing information and create a shipping label for you*, which we will provide along with an RMA form to include in the packaging. In the rare event that a camera comes back to us with an issue that could have been resolved by phone or email, we reserve the right to invoice the customer for shop and shipping charges. We will do our best to support cameras that are no longer under warranty, and generally make decisions for such units on a case by case basis.

DISCLAIMER: Oftentimes, troubleshooting requires working with us to zero in on and resolve the issue. To receive the best possible service, please remain open to our suggestions and help us help you. We will do all we can to support a camera that is under warranty, but we will not respond favorably to unreasonable attitudes or threats. If we are earnestly trying to help with your issue, and are hindered in our attempts by forces outside of our control for an extended length of time, we reserve the right to mark the situation as unresolvable and cut contact.
