Along with the 2023 Spring Release comes the sunset of Points Reserve (also known as Pool Reserve), but fear not! Our new My Account page allows you to add funds to an Account Balance, and this balance will run your cameras if your Pool data runs out prior to your billing date. The biggest difference is that you will be able to use your Account Balance to pay your monthly renewal, which we will cover in more detail in “2023 Spring Release 05: Account Balance and Payment Options.”
When viewing the My Account page in the new Standard View, clicking or tapping the “Pay On Account” button will take you to the Pay On Account screen.
When viewing My Account in Advanced view, you will see the tabs across the top of the page. Clicking or tapping on the “Pay On Account” button under My Pool, or the Pay On Account tab, will take you to the Pay On Account screen.
If you have no credit card on file, and do not wish to save one, you can fill out the fields and add funds on this screen.
If you do have a card on file, you can use it to add funds by ensuring the checkbox for “Use Default Card For Payment” is checked.
If you uncheck “Use Default Card For Payment,” the fields will appear to add credit card info.
Once you’ve added funds, you can navigate away from this page. Your Account Balance will remain in the background and never expire. If your Pool data runs out before the billing date, your camera(s) will begin using your Account Balance to upload photos or videos.
